Police have identified a man after he was hit by an SUV in Madisonville this morning.
It happened just before seven o'clock at
Stewart and Madison in Madisonville. Police say the man was in a crosswalk at the time.
65 year-old William Johnson was a resident at St. Paul's retirement home, which is adjacent to the crosswalk.
The crosswalk is well marked with flashing lights warning drivers to be cautious.
Police have not said whether they plan to file charges against the driver of the vehicle which hit him.
