    Plea bargining for criminals

A person rapes and molests a child and kills that child, but pleads out and gets a lighter sentence. How does this help tax payers ? It only helps the prosecuter on his tally of convictions.Murders, rapes, drugs, crimes against children and crime goes up where does it stop ?

If you do the crime take them to the box let a jury decide, plea bargin`s don`t help but hard time just might.

Gee,  you must not watch too  much TV.

The procecutor will plea when he does not have a strong case. The procecutors JOB is to send people to jail, the more that go to jail, the better chance the procecutor has to making it to office as Attnorny General or Governor. Since he has a duty to win, if he does not have a strong case, then they bargain and make deals.

SO YES, he is saving the tax payers money.

I would far prefer a plea than to let them go free. With a jury, the potential for someone walking free is very high.

Are you writting about a particular case?
