The Oxford Police Department offers a free Vacant House Check program to all city of Oxford residents.
If you are leaving town for a weekend or an extended period of time, the Vacant House Check program is one crime prevention tool that may be very useful in protecting your home.
All fields in the form below are required in order to process your request. Please be specific when providing information as this will assist our officers when performing checks. If you have any questions, you may call the Oxford Police Department at (513) 524-5240 or you may stop at OPD and fill out a card in person.
Please note: You are required to contact OPD immediately upon your return to remove your name from the check list. For those residents who have roommates, the first roommate to return should call.
Vacant House Check Forms submitted on the website are added to the check-list Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Any forms submitted during a weekend will not be added to the check list until the following business day.
NOTICE: This form transmits information to the Oxford Division of Police electronically. At this time, the form is not encrypted.
